Michelle studied nursing at State University of New York in Buffalo, NY. She has been a nurse for over 30 years.
That healthcare background helps her understand the value of a hard day's work. Originally from Michigan, Michelle's family moved to the Finger Lakes region in NY. She stayed and went to school in Buffalo. Michelle lived in Buffalo, NY for 13 years.
They then decided to move to North Carolina to be closer to other family members. They found positions in Smithfield and Rocky Mount, so they decided to settle in Wilson, NC to raise their kids. Later, they moved to Zebulon then Youngsville.
Michelle and her husband Randy have been married for over 30 years. Randy is in healthcare, too, and works in Radiology. They have 2 children, both grown and living in NC. Her daughter is a Data Analyst in the UNC system, and her son is a Greensman on set for movies and television. His name is in the credits of popular films such as Scream and Black Phone.
They also have a little-bit-spoiled senior Puggle (half pug/half beagle) named Harley.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with family that lives here in Zebulon, hanging out by the pool, and travel. Michelle and Randy have been to the Caribbean, Europe, and lots of US states. They love to learn about different cultures and history.
Michelle and her whole family are diehard Buffalo Bills fans. On any given Sunday during the season, you'll find them watching the game and cheering for their team. Go Bills!!
